Default Filled contacts, but empty Address Book in Outlook 2007

Where do i remove the Outlook Address Book service? I am not allowed to
delete in "Tools - Account Settings - Address Books". There is one entry,
but I cannot remove it

I am running Outlook 2007/Vista. After having transferred from
Outlook2003/xp the address book seems to be empty.
If I look in “Contacts” all the entries are there. If I key anything
in the To field Outlook comes up with correct suggestions. If I
Click the To button the list is empty and the Address Book dropdown
is empty.
In Folder List - Contacts - Outlook Address Book “Show this folder
as an email Address Book” is grayed out and not selected.

In Account Settings - Address Books I have an Outlook Address Book
(Type MAPI)

Remove the Outlook Address Book service, stop and restart Outlook, ad the
service back in, then stop and restart Outlook.
