Default Calendar conflicts

I use Outlook 2003

For example I booked an appointment for 10:00 on Tuesday of next week to go
visit a client. A few days later our company banker phones and wants to book
a meeting that overlaps the first. I was able to book the latter meeting
without a notice that I had a conflict with the first. How do I get Outlook
to warn me?

After furious head scratching, JRP asked:

| How do you get Outlook to warn you about scheduling appointments that
| overlap when not using the Meeting Request? In previous versions
| Outlook would warn you if you manually book appointments that overlap
| or are next to each other.
