Default Meetings are disappearing

We have users who are setup as delegates in Outlook for our management team.
If the delegates receive a meeting request they will accept it or select
tentative. If the users delete the request out of their Inbox or Deleted
Items Folder after selecting Accept or Tentative then the meeting will
disappear off of the manager’s Calendar. Is their a way to stop this?
