Yes, I thought of that but it didn't help. I've also discovered that the
problem is not limited to .doc files; it also happened to a .jpg
file. Normally, I get these files fine.

Have you tried renaming the txt as .doc? I did that with a similar
instance a few days ago, and the file was readable. Don't know why it
arrived that way, though, as in general .docs arrive OK.

Anti-Spam. They leave the sender as .doc and arrive as .txt. Any one
