Default "Delete from server" doesn't

You can't do that. OE has to download a message in order to tell if it
has an attachment. By then it's too late to delete it from the server.

- The Actions "Delete from Server" and "Do Not Download" can only test
information in the message header (FROM, TO, CC, SUBJECT, message size).
If you test text in the message body or "has attachment", the message
must be download first for this test, negating the action. Also, these
must be the first rules in your list, or a preceding one may cause the
message to download.

You could do something along the lines if from specified address and
over 100 KB. You'd have to make a guess based on size as to whether or
not it has an attachment. It's a trade of between small attachments
getting through or a message with a lot of text not getting through.

I have a email rule that says "If a message is from a specified address
and if there is an attachment delete it from the server".

Problem is, the rule doesn't work. The message gets downloaded anyhow.

Am I understanding this function incorrectly? I want such messages
deleted from the server without their being downloaded.
