Default Using Categories to distinguish appointments in one Calendar

we are trying to create one calendar, but display appointments as either
"internal" or "external".

Can we use a category name on each appointment, then print only a Calendar
with the internal appointments, or only the external appointments displayed?

We use Outlook 2003.
