This is the case in OE, IE6, and even in Word documents. It jumps not only
when I use the mouse, but also when I use the up and down arrow keys to
navigate. Since this is the case, it makes me think it's a setting, not the
mouse. Do you agree?
BTW: I already have the smooth scrolling option selected. Thanks!

Is this in IE or OE or both?
If using IE7, Tools | Internet Options | Advanced Tab. Under the Browsing
section, check: Use Smooth Scrolling.
You may also have a setting in the Control Panel | Mouse icon.
If still no joy, remove the mouse from Add /Remove Programs, Reboot and
reinstall the software.

Any idea if there is a setting that I can change so that when I scroll
down a page using the scroll bar on the right-hand side of the page, it
doesn't scroll smoothly down the page, it jumps with each click. This
just started happening when I had my hard drive reformatted. I can still
use the scroll bar, but it's very annoying. Thanks in advance for your
help!
