I own True Image 10.
While asking to backup ONLY Outlook's "User Settings"
(I don't need the emails themselves because I already have a much better
solution for that), it was unbeliveable and unacceptable slow. It is a job
that should take no time. So it turns out not to be "...simpler..." at all.

BTW
The main reason I have Acronis is for drive imaging & cloning which I
haven't tried it yet. I hope for these main purposes it will play much better
otherewise it will go out the "window" (with and without quotes... ).
In recent years, I have very little tolerance to SW products that have major
bugs, including performance. I don't even bother to call (let alone write
emails) to "support". Since I am a hands on user, if the product(s) is
unacceptable, I toss it away and solve the problem myself.

My yardstick for these jobs is Symantec's Ghost (especially their last
version which was 2003) which is superb but they cancelled that product line
and switched to Norton Ghost 9 & 10 which is not really for disk imaging &
cloning.
