I have my screen saver set to display the welcome screen and just started
getting the following message under my username: 2 unread mail messages, when
there are no unread messages in my inbox at all?

This message for some reason never was there before and I've tried logging
off, restarting the PC and sending myself 2 test e-mails, leaving them unread
in the inbox, then opening Outlook again to delete them, but this same
message still appears on the welcome screen.

What to do? I've got all the most recent Microsoft updates and am using Win.
XP Home with SP2.
