Default Dismissing a reminder

Then you will have to do both actions. Or you can ignore the item in the
reminders window, go to the tasks folder and mark it complete there.

The solution I provided is for Outlook 2003 and 2007. Since you did not list
your version I provided a solution for the latest versions of Outlook.

I am currently running Outlook 2002 and when I right click on any of the
items in the pop up reminder list window it only gives me the option to
open
and nothing else.
