Default signatures in e-mail

I've never been able to use HTML for a sig file. Only txt.file...if it is a
file in My Documents.

There is no way to create an HTML file in the Signatures tab in
OE/Tools/Signature.

The signature has to be an HTML file.

That did not work either.

I seem to have a similar problem in that I had a signature which
consisted
of
a disclaimer (for an attorney's office). He then wanted to add another
paragraph but OE will not let us do that, assume it thinks it's too
long,
but
can't find anything to indicate that there is a limit on the number of
characters?

I then tried to have it look to a file instead and used brouse to get
to the file, opened it as the instructions said and clicked apply.
However,
when I
tested it there was no signature at all.

Can anyone help?

OE6. I have defined a signature as a file in
tools-options-signatures.
However when I wish to add it into a message the signatures button in
Add
is
greyed out. Even with a text signature "add-signature" is greyed out.
Selecting "add-signature to all messages" in OE options adds a text
signature to all messages but not a signature from a file. In neither
case is
the "add-signature" button available in the message add menu.
How do I correct this problem so that I can selectively add a text or
file
signature to all or selected messages?
Thanks.
