Yes that worked. Sending from our exchange server instead of his POP3 acct
got rid of the "on behalf of". However now the senders email address comes
up with our domain name instead of his. I know this is because of sending
from our exchange server. Any other thoughts?

Don't use the From field to select the sending address. Instead use the
Accounts button.
