Why????

There are multiple reasons why reminders may fail. However, she should
try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command line switch.
I.E., with Outlook closed, she should click StartRun and enter

outlook.exe /cleanreminders

in the Open field, then click OK. Note the space in front of the slash.
