Default Why do I lose my automated addresses when I log out of outlook

Hello Diane Poremsky [MVP],

We use WINXP PRO SP2 and OUTLOOK 2003 SP2 and as server WIN2003 + EXCHANGE
2003 SP2

Most of our users have no problem with the autocomplete.
On every client the Autocomplete is activated and works fine.
On some clients Outlook looses the autocomplete Cash after a PC shutdown.
On these clients Outlook generates the cash every morning from scrap.

NONE of our clients have a .KK2 file in the folder that you mentioned.

What is the solution to our problem?

Mario

right click on the task bar and choose Task Manger. Look for
outlook.exe is the list.

Hi Diane,

Thanks - How do I find out if it is running in task manager?

the autocomplete cache is not getting saved - make sure outlook is
not
running in Task manager when you close it, that will prevent the
cache
from
getting saved. If it's not running, find and delete the xml file
that
contains your autocomplete cache.
