Outlook Connector and Office Live Essential - was OC and Live Mail Plus
if it's still not working, I think the provisioning bug found in outlook
live still exists - the account doesn't properly provision as a supported
account type. You'll need to call tech support and they'll have to fix it.
Hopefully they won't tell you to make a new account with an new address,
like MSN tried to tell me.

Ok.
Last before to close the lid (notebook) and the lights.
From the Office Live FAQ
---------------------
Can I access my e-mail and other Microsoft Office Live information when I
am not connected to the Internet (offline)?
With the Microsoft Outlook Connector - available in the Microsoft Office
Live Essentials and Microsoft Office Live Premium subscription - customers
can access and manage e-mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks using their
own copy of Microsoft Office Outlook 2002 (XP) or later.
---------------------
I need you, Diane ;-)
Good Night

Once again back, with contrasting news.
If HTTP is selected as protocol to sync my Office Live Essential Account,
when I start to sync, I'm requested to install Outlook Connector.....
And I'm back to the beginning....
No sync at all....
Ok.
A good sleep's needed....

Ok....
I'm sorry.
Even Live Essential can't use Outlook Connector.
....as reported in Office Live Help pages
-----------------------
Access Microsoft Office Live Mail in Outlook
You also can access Microsoft Office Live Mail in Outlook. In Outlook,
on the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts. A wizard will open that will
guide you through the steps to bring Microsoft Office Live Mail into
Outlook. Be sure to select HTTP for account type and Hotmail for HTTP
Mail Service Provider.
Note This feature is only available to Microsoft Office Live
Essentials subscription holders.
-----------------------
So, at the moment, I can confirm that no service works with Connector be
excepted for Hotmail Premium Accounts, if someone succeed to subscribe
them (in Italy surely not).
No Office Live solutions allow to sync calendars and Tasks, through
Connector.
Come on Micrsoft, hurry up!

Hello Diane,
I subscribed to a free trial of Office Live Essential, upgrading the
Basic Account I already owned.
Connector doesn't care it at all.
As with my Live Mail Plus, my Live Essential account correctly signs in
but can't synchronize mail and calendars cause are services "available
only to subscribers"...
Who are them? I'm starting to ask myself, watching out for ghosts ;-)
Ok. Jokes apart.
I did it the upgrade 20 minutes ago and probably is too soon to get all
MS Servers already set up.
Anyway, I think I'll have to downgrade even if my bloody connector
would start its dirty job.
Companies, here, use a lot the Italian version of Outlook, and
Connector doesn't work on other languages but English.
So, I'm too forward.
Is too soon, and the beta phase is the beta phase.
Even if I can see how great is a product and how revolutionary can be
in SMEs framework. So, I'm not able to stop testing and suggesting
people to follow this kind of new bible in Office Automation
Management.
Ok.
I will keep the group informed about Live Essential and Connector
behavior.
