Default copy and paste puts in double space

Oops!

I had to guess that instead of 'dated' you meant 'data'.

You didn't have to assume: "When I copy from one email message and paste
into a new message"

I assume you're copying from MS Word or other MS Office applications.
OE's
RichText/HTML formatting just doesn't "agree" with Office's version so
you'll just have to edit the dated pasted into your OE email message, I'm
afraid.

I get a little nervous downloading software to my work computer so I
went
to
the web site and read that puretext will remove rich formatting, such as
font style and colour and not lines, carriage returns, etc. Is this not
the
same as me selecting plain text? If possible I would like to keep all my
text formatting.

1. Install Pure Text: http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/

2. Copy the desired text to your clipboard.

3. Click on the PT icon in Notification Area (to the left of the
clock).

4. Paste the contents of your clipboard into your message.

Hi, When I copy from one email message and paste into a new message,
it
double spaces the copied text and I can't delete the spaces. I have to
type
the message from scratch to maintain my formatting. I have selected
plain
text and it takes out the spaces but then I lose all my formatting.
Any
suggestions on how to take out the spaces without the formatting would
be
great.
