Default Question with Message Rules

A Delete it from server rule will not download the message and it will also
delete it from the server, even if you have Leave a copy of messages on the
server checked. Unfortunately, you're trying to have your cake and eat it
too.

If you want messages with certain criteria downloaded, you can't use the
action to Delete it from server.

I'm trying to set up a certain Message Rule, but can't get it to do what
I'd like. Normally, I keep all of my mail on the server. However,
whenever I get "junk mail" in Outlook Express, I'd like to automatically
delete it from the server, as well. I've created plenty of Message Rules,
so I know how they work. I created a rule that uses the "Delete from
server" action, based on specific criteria of what I consider "junk mail".
And that part works.

In other words, whenever a message arrives that matches my "junk mail"
criteria, it does get deleted from my mail server. HOWEVER... I do NOT
receive the mail in Outlook Express! It's just "gone". It appears that
"Delete from server" also seems to imply "And don't deliver to my Inbox".
But that's exactly what I *want* it to do. I'd like the mail delivered to
my OE Inbox, AND deleted from the server.

I even tried to create two separate Message Rules, using the same
selection criteria. The first says "for any matches, Copy this message to
a folder called Test". A second, and totally separate, Message Rule says
"for any matches, Delete from server". And still, even in this case, the
message does get deleted from the server, but it does NOT end up in the
Test folder. It's just gone.

Any suggestions on how to do both of these -- keep the message in OE *and*
delete it from the server???
