Default How do I set up multiple outgoing smtp servers for same accoun

I'm trying to help a friend with this exact problem. Can someone send me a
code bit to do what is described above? At least help me with the
appropriate objects to work with? I do mostly Excel programming and don't
know the Outlook object model vary well. BTW... he's still using Outlook
2000, but on XP.

Thanks,
Chris

Not really. I've written a program for myself that checks my IP address at
startup and sets the SMTP server accordingly. There are utils out there like
NetSwitcher which also can do that.

I work from multiple locations and each has a different ISP. Currently I
change the outgoing smtp server based on where I am working. Is there a
way
to load all outgoing servers and have Outlook attempt to send using
whichever
it can?
