So, what you're opening, closing, and opening an item created with a custom form, not the form itself, correct? Did you create separate compose and read layouts for that form? IF so, you probably forgot to change the read layout to match the latest changes in the compose layout? If not, where is the form published? Does the Help | About This Form command provide the correct information about the form?

What steps are you using the "re-open" the form? Do you mean you're opening an item created with the form? (Remember that the form is a UI/code templates. It contains no data.)

I created a new form when I publish that form I can edit and save it. But
when I re-open the form I got an older version of my created form. So what is
the difference between open the card and save the card? Maybe make a new card
is something else then the published card? I also cannot delete my old
created forms. Can somebody give me an answer?
