On behalf of using a POP3 acct.
Brian,
You assume right. The only reason the user is on our exchange server is so
he can use the calendar feature. His POP3 email is the default email for
him. I tried selecting the "account" button and using POP account but I get
the same result. Not sure what else to try....

Yes that worked. Sending from our exchange server instead of his
POP3 acct got rid of the "on behalf of". However now the senders
email address comes up with our domain name instead of his. I know
this is because of sending from our exchange server. Any other
thoughts?
I didn't intend for you to send using the Exchange account. You said you
have two accounts, the Exchange account and the POP account. I assume that
the address associated with the POP account is user@POP3domain, as in your
example. I also assume (although perhaps I shouldn't) that the POP and SMTP
servers in that account are for the POP account ISP and not your company's
Exchange server and that the credentials in the account are your POP
credentials for the ISP supplying the POP account. Is this not the case?
If it is, then you should be able to select the POP account using the
Accounts button and the recipient will see the POP address as the sender.
