Default Outlook 2002 reset to default

Thanks Milly.

I'll give that a go, although I'm not sure if it will definitely sort my
problem out, it's something I thought may be good to try though. I'd be
grateful if you could have a look at my question (also posted under name
"banksman") entitled ""MS Outlook has Encountered a Problem" when I try to
load ". It fully explains the problem I've got. If you recognise it I'd be
grateful of any suggestions.

Thanks,

John

Make sure Outlook is completely closed, then rename the .pst file to ..pstold. Go to Control Panel-Mail Icon-Profiles and set up a brand new profile (you may want to delete the old one first).

After furious head scratching, Banksman asked:

| Hi,
|
| Can anyone tell me how to reset my Outlook 2002 back to it's original
| settings please? IE everything out of my calendar and my contacts so
| I can re-enter them again.
|
| I have an issue which makes my Outlook error on opening then load
| into Safe Mode every time. I've tried to delete it from my PC and
| re-install it but it still errors upon re-install and I've run out of
| ideas to try. Any response would be most appreciated.
|
| Regards,
|
