Default impossible to creat new date directly by pressing right-mouse-butt

Hello,

I am using Outlook2003 (MS Office 2003) on windows XP.
Everthing works fine except two important things in the calendar:

1.) I can not create a new date directly by pressing the right-mouse-button
on a specific day (having the hole month displayed). In detail: Having the
courser over the day I wanted to create a new date on and pressing the
right-mouse-button, the pulldown-menu shows up and when pressing "new date" a
new window even opens to fill in the subjectinformation, starting and ending
time and so on.

BUT: No matter on which day I try the right-mouse-click, the starting time
is ALWAYS preset on the present day (say 28.Feb06) and I always have to
correct this by hand (say to choose my new date to start on 2. march 2006).

2.) I can not move ANY already created dates by drag&drop from one day to
another. When I try to move one, my courser always changes to a closed-sign
(canceled circle), an nothing happens.

Are there any settings I have to adjust that it will work as expected?
Thank you for any support.
