You can only Export Messages to Outlook or Exchange (as the popup
window tells you ("This will export messages from Outlook Express to
Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange"/[OK][Cancel])). For this to
work, you have to have Outlook/Exchange installed on the (same)
computer. You probably don't and the MAPI error message is telling you
that, albeit in a very cryptic way.

As to why you can only export to other Microsoft products? Can you say
"lock in"?

Start by visiting Windows Updates. You are running a very old and less
secure version of OE. Of all the updates you are missing, no less than
four have a direct effect on OE.
