My Auto Complete is so full of nonsense that I MUST clear out the names which
don’t belong there. However, when I do as instructed, something seems to be
amiss. Here’s exactly what I’m doing & what’s happening:

As per the instructions, I open a new e-mail & in the “To” field, & start
with the letter “a” (for instance) to bring up the addresses. The
instructions say to use the up & down arrows, highlight entries I do not want
& click delete.

Unfortunately, when I do click delete, I get that sound (“gonk”? LOL) which
always indicates that the action I’m trying to perform is not allowed.

That’s it; I get stuck here every time, with no solution.

HELP!
