Thanks for the reply Sue but Outlook is running - If I send an email to
someone and outlook is running on their machine - I want the meeting to
appear as Tentative (as it does when the person opens the meeting emails) -
This is how it works in Groupwise and I wondered if it was possible to
achieve in Outlook.
Not sure it is?
Kind regards Rexman

No, because it's Outlook that tentatively accepts the meeting. If Outlook isn't running, no acceptance.

Hi all
I am working with OUtlook (2003) and exchange server at work. When you send
a meeting it only appears as tentative when it is opened (even if with the
read pane). Is it possible to make it automatically appear in the calendar as
Tentative once the meeting is sent.
I tried using a rule to make it mark as read when it enters the inbox but it
did not work.
Any suggestions (even if the answer is no!!) are gratefully recieved
Kind regards
Rexmann
