Default outlook password not saved

There is a file you can download from the MS site called Outlook Connector
which was to fix the problem of the missing file - the inability to connect
to a pop3 account. I have downloaded this file and now I get a different
screen, showing my login name, the password, but it still asks for a password
and locks me out when I retry - stating there are too many attempts with an
incorrect password. The password is correct. I assume others have got this
to work otherwise they would have taken it down by now.

Yes, you can switch to the other mail program but when you pay for a MS
product like Office, which isn't cheap, you would expect it work on a MS
operating system. I

Outlook 2002 is not compatible with Vista. One of the incompatibilites is
the inability to save passswords.
