Default Fonts in messages

To expand on what Bruce said, BLANK does not mean no stationery. BLANK
is one of the stationery files that comes with OE and it does specify
the font to use.

Having *Blank* checked in the Stationery section is just as bad.
Uncheck
/everything/ in the Stationery section of Compose.

Thanks, but I've tried all that (and it's not just the wrong font
*size*,
but also the wrong *font*!), and I'm not using stationery (just
"Blank").

Are you using Stationery (Tools, Options, Compose)? If so, any
font in
the stationery would override your settings.

Colleen (or anyone else who can help!):
Were you ever able to solve your font problem? I have virtually
the
same
problem, except that my New message defaults automatically to
Arial
10-point.
I've gone through the same steps that you did (Tools, Options,
Compose
and
chosen Rockwell 12-point for my New messages), but it still
defaults
(only in
a New message, not in a Reply) to Arial 10-point. I can then
change
it for
that single new message, but that's a pain. I want it to
default to
Rockwell
12-point when I open up a new message.
If you corrected your problem, how did you do it? The suggested
methods
below did not seem to work!

Hi,

I'm having a problem with fonts that I've selected for my mail
messages -
they are not used in the actual message.

I've gone into Tools, Options, Compose and chosen a font and
size for
my
email messages. However, when I go to open a new message and
compose
it,
the font has defaulted to Times New Roman 12pt, which is not
the font
and
size that I had selected.

Can anyone help me with this? Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks,

Colleen L
