My wife informed me that her shortcut to Google no longer worked. She is
running XP home edition. When I checked sure enough nothing happened when
I clicked on it. I deleted it and made a new one and once again nothing.

I am running XP pro and compared the shortcut on my computer to hers. The
shortcuts themselves are the same insofar as the properties page URL is
http://www.google.com/. However on my computer the shortcut location
points to C:\Documents and Settings\Paul M. Anton\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch.

My wife's computer shortcut location points to C:\Documents and
Settings\Winona Anton\Desktop when I call up the shortcut properties.

I don't know how to proceed at this point. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Thanks much

Paul Anton
