Default Limit in the num. of emails in a single Outlook folder

the status bar should show the total count of visible items and you can see
subfolders (each counts as 1 item - contents of subfolders count only for
the folder) - published forms are on the Actions menu. Hidden items can't be
easily counted, except by looking at the folder with outlook spy and
counting them yourself. In most cases, you shouldn't have many hidden items
in folders other than the inbox.

Is there a limit in the number of email that Outlook 2007 can contain
in a single folder?

Every folder can contain at a minimum 64K items (size doesn't matter) and
the entire data store can contain at a minimum 20GB.
