Default cross-shaped mouse cursor

Another question: I am assuming you are in Day/Week/Month view when this
happens...which of the subviews are you looking at (Day, Week, Work Week, or
Month)?

Microsoft Outlook 2003. I'm in the calendar. I pause the cursor over the time
beside an entry I've entered into the calendar and the arrow changes to a
cross-shape, like little arrows pointing the 4 directions. WhY? What function?
Thanks.

What version of Outlook are you using? Where is the date and time you are
pausing over when the crosshair cursor appears?
