Outlook notes are pitiful. If you are going to compare it to anything in
Outlook, compare it to the journal. I am doing alot of work in this area to
bridge the Outlook Journal and OneNote since by themselves I think both are
sorely lacking. But combined, they are very very powerful.
OneNote is a great entry mechanism, but its organization sucks. Once you
have more than a couple workbooks and sections it's a major chore trying to
find things. Outlook's strength is that it can organize and view information
in various ways. So the idea is to get the powerful data collection features
of OneNote combined with the powerful organization capabilities of Outlook.
Right now you can't do that but you might want to take a look at a free app
I developed called OneNote Calendar that acts as a band aid for the time
being.

Hello,
I have been using OneNote to write my notes. Outlook supports notes. I
am wondering if I should drop OneNote and use notes in Outlook, or use
both. Please give me some advise. Thank you.
