Hello,

Tools Options Maintenance (tab) Store Folder will show the location of
the current Identity store folder.

It looks something like this
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{some long code}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Paste the part until the slash in Identities in Internet Explorer, it will
look something like this
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities

If you see any other identities that do not match the original one, they're
likely your old identity files. You will need to go through them. Once you
identify your old identity folder, copy them to the new identity folder
after creating a new identity.

Hi SingaporeWebDesign...I actually can't find the data to copy..Once the
identity was deleted, the data disappeared with it and I don't know where
to
locate the data. Do you have any idea where the data may be stored?
Thanks!

Hello,

Try creating a new identity with a different name and copying (copy, not
move) the data to the new store folder.

Hi...one of my "identities" of my email was deleted (in error of
course)
and
all messages relating to that identity disappeared. On the help screen
for
outlook it says that if the identity is deleted the corresponding
setting
are
deleted
but the data are not...can someone help me get the data back? Thanks!
