Default printing issue?

That sounds like the Shrink to Fit issue some are having with IE7.

The email message header does not print when you try to print an email
message by using either Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook
Express - also related to Shrink to Fit
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/931657

IE7 and "shrink to fit" problems - emails printing very small - hotfix
released:
http://msmvps.com/blogs/spywaresucks...18/689883.aspx

Another workaround for header printing is to switch to Read all messages in
Plain Text in Tools | Options | Read.

If you want to get a second opinion, the IE General newsgroup will probably
have more information on this.

For Internet Explorer questions not pertaining to Outlook Express, please
post to one of the following:

IE General newsgroup, (For IE6 and IE7):

As Ron said, and I did, you have to make the change in Internet Explorer,
not in Outlook Express.

For print size: IE | View | Text Size | Make adjustment.

Bruce,

I tried your help, but no effect.

I took a email that printed small, changed the font to largest and it
still printed microsmall.
I then took a email that printed out properly and made the text largest
and it did nothing, text can out the same size.

Should I try to reinstall OE 6.x?
If so is it available from DL at MS?

Thanks,
Dave-

Hello all,

I have a strange problem that has me here. dont know if it a OE or
printer issue so here goes.....

I use a monitoring software from my sister (dad does not use a PC of
any nature) so I can keep tabs on her ( shes 15 ) as she has abused the
internet, myspace, AIM, etc , you get the point.

She has a desktop and a notebook that connects wireless.( have a 2 user
license)

Well my problem lies within the reports I receive from her computer to
mine. I receive the reports as a text based email, I then print them
out for my dad to review. Heres my problem, sometimes it prints the
reports normal ( by that I mean a normal size font like a 10 or 11 )
and then there are times it prints the reports in a font size so small
I cannot read it. This problem from what I can figure out is only on
the notebook, desktop reports seem fine.

Software tech says its my printer settings or driver. I have check with
HP and the driver is up to date.
Made sure all the settings were to default, etc..
Is it possible that my OE is faulting the print out?
I have no other issues but then again I dont really print out any
emails.

Thanks for any leads.

Dave
