Posted here a week ago with this problem and received great responses.
Problem still exists and here it is. Running Win XP Home with IE6 and
OE6.
ISP is comcast. Antivirus is Mcafee. Create mail, click send, email
moves
from outbox to sent folder but is never received at destination. Send an
email to myself but never receive it. Posting here last week told me to
try
disabling Mcafee...did no good. Currently have outgoing email scanning
disabled. Comcast has rebuilt my email account but problem still exists.
In an attempt to isolate problem further, I set up my email account on a
different PC running Win 2000 and OE6 with norton antivirus and everything
worked fine, so I have at least identified the problem as being in my PC.
Next step was I removed my email account from my PC and then set it up all
over again. But the problem still persists. Any and all suggestions
would
be extremely appreciated. Thanks
