Default automatic dens and receive

I haven't seen a version that old in years. IIRC it's in Tools
Send/Receive Send/Receive Settings... Define Send/Receive Groups...

I didn't think it had anything to with contacts. I did not set anything
before, it had been set by someone else. Can you explain hw to do this.

This has nothing to do with Contacts.
Just set an automatic polling interval the way you did before.

Running Win XP Pro with Outlook 2002. Before having to reformat and
reinstall everything, Outlook would automatically send and receive when
I
opened the program. It also would immediately send an email as soon as
I
hit
the Send button. But after reinstall, It does not auto check for
messages
when opening, and now even though I have hit the Send button, the
message
does not send until I hit the Send/Receive button. Is there a setting
that
can changes these two things? And if so where do I find them. Thanks
