Default Spell Check

Word for Windows 97. It gives me all I need and I have used it with this
version of XP before I reinstalled.

Unfortunately, it did and I still don't have a spell checker. I spent two
days freshly formatting and installing XP and I won't go thru that again.

Will whoever please answer this msg again. When I tried the suggestions
My computer froze up and I lost my mailbox and all internet
connectivity. I have been able to shuffle some things over from another
computer. The WinXP disk didn't have the CAP....dll file on it so it
couldn't expand it. I d/l the file from a site you mentioned but it
wouldn't install because it would only accept .cab files and this was a
.dll file. I'm getting deeper and deeper in the hole here. I had to
download the Registery repair file from the page with the downloadable
dll and it found 187 errors on a newly installed version of XP.

Thanks

Start again by the sound of it? Fresh install. What you describe should
not happen.
