Default Remove & Reinstall Outlook?

Having installed Outllok 2007 on a VIsta machine, I can tell you that
uninstalling it does not necessarily do the job. I made 4 attempts at
uninstalling and reinstalling the program before I realized that Vista, or
Office itself, does not completely remove Outlook so everytime I tried to
reinstall I kept running into the same problems and errors.

First, make sure you backup your outlook.pst file somewhere. Next,
uninstall Outlook. Lastly, and be careful here, edit the registry and delete
EVERY reference to Outlook. That is what I did and once I did that and
rebooted the computer I was able to completely, and successfully, reinstall
Outlook. From there you just import your outlook.pst file and that should do
it for you.

Just installed Office Pro 2007 a few weeks ago and now I believe the Outlook
program is corrupted. I exited the program during a download of emails a
week ago and now I can't run the program in anything other than Safe Mode.
When I try to exit, the program become unresponsive and I have to "End Now".
I used the diagnostic programs suggested by Microsoft. I'm at the point of
just uninstalling and reinstalling.

How can I uninstall and reinstall when Outook isn't listed separately? If I
do uninstall, how do I keep my emails?
