You should also take your advice...I had written that the option to check the
" Mark your contact folder for use with your address book" is GREYED OUT on
my pc, and that the contacts folder does not appear on the menu for either To
(or Cc: or Bcc

, and it does not appear as a choice when you select the
outlook folder that appears first. So, none of your suggestions is viable
for me.

Hi Sally,
you must read all information of the sites that you get as a tip.
On the site that Brian gave you, is a special part:
"Step 2: Mark your contact folder for use with your address book"
http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002
Did you check this too.
You can also change the default Addressbook in Outlook unter
"Tools/Addressbook"Tools/Options" = "Display this addressbook first".

I have the same problem as someone did ion an earlier post, but I
need a better solution that offered in it.
When clicking on the To: (or CC, or BCC) filed, the contacts folder
does not appear as a selection.
I followed Microsot Help's suggestion of going to the folder's
properties, Address book tab, and checking the "show this file as an
email Address book, but that item is visible, but grayed out.
You have not added the Outlook Address Book service to your mail profile.
