You didn't upset me. Your problem affects a relative small percentage of
users. The Hotfix is a fix that is not 100% proven. Once it is, it will be
available through WU/MU. Until then, MS only wants users that are truly
affected and hardshipped by this problem to get the hotfix in the manner
suggested. They don't want to release something to the general user that is
not refined.

I didn't mean anything negative toward you. I was just commenting strongly
about how to go about getting a hotfix. Before, once you were able to
diagnose the problem, then you could just get the hotfix you needed, right
then and there. It just seems like it is counterproductive to have to
contact them first, then wait to get your response. Especially if it is a
major problem and your system is down, then who wants to wait?

Sorry if i upset you, that was not my intention. I am very grateful for
your help.
