That's not incredible. I get about 500 a day and don't consider it a
problem. I have mail rules that move more that 95% of the real mail to
other folders and I scan through the senders and subjects of the rest
before deleting. Just takes a few minutes.

I guess incredible is relative to my 5 daily. Granted, at
~500/day, I would be looking at a programmatic solution
as well.
