I don't know if I can help, but can you just click the Print button after
selecting a printer instead of Find Printer? Can you use the toolbar print
button to print using the default printer? For me, the default printer is
highlighted when using File | Print...

as "HP LaserJet 3030 PCL6") then click the button "Find Printer", I get to
a "Connect to Printer" screen in which the "Printer" field is blank.

I swear I never knowingly did any previous messing with my OE6.
