Default How do I transfer my contact list in Outlook 2007

You don't. Outlook does not keep a separate "Contact list." All data is in
one file. Open that file in the new installation and either reuse it or copy
what you want from it. Never import Outlook data.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
