Default Address Book Missing Names

You're in more trouble than you think. The version of Outlook you are using
was a temporary, dysfunctional version that has not been supported for years
and that provides no opportunity to repair the address book. In fact, you
are actually using Outlook Express for your address book and mail
transports, not Outlook. So any repairs would be in the purview of OE and
the Windows Address Book. There is no way for us to troubleshoot your
problem without more information as to what caused it.

In Outlook, "About" says:
Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR# (9.0.0.6627)
Internet Mail Only - Security Update

In Address Book, "About" says:
Address Book
6.00.2900.3028

If there's more to this story I don't know it. In any event is there some
way to just import all of my contacts into Address Book?

Outlook 2000 existed as 2 completely separate programs. We need to know
which you are using. Look at line 2 of Help | About if you don't know.
This will be hard to solve when you portray it as a random act of
violence. There must be more to this story.

I don't know what you mean by "mail support mode" and there was nothing
overt that I know about that caused the missing entries. There is
nothing in common that I can see among the missing entries.

Not enough information here. Need to know the mail support mode of
Outlook 2000, the steps you took just before "recently," and which
Contacts are missing. Things like this do not happen randomly and for
no reason.

I am using Outlook 2000 with Windows XP. Normally all of the entries
in Contacts appear in my address book. But recently something has
happened, and many of the contacts are missing from my address book.
Is there any way to restore all of my contacts to my address book
without tediously entering them one at a time?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
