Default Fax and Outlook for XP

The version of Fax that comes with WinXP is VERY GOOD... however, it does
not "integrate" with Outlook as far as I know. I've resorted to simply
adding a shortcut to the WinXP "Fax Console" in Outlook's Shortcuts sidebar.
Check in Control Panel - Add / Remove Programs - Add/Remove Windows
Components to make sure you have it installed.

You access it via Accessories - Communications (if I remember it's default
Start Menu correctly).

I used to have an old PC running Windows '98 with Outlook '97 and Microsoft
Fax - it was great, very easy to use as both faxes and emails would be
displayed in the same place. I've just upgraded to a new PC with XP. I can
load Outlook '97 but can't use Windows Messaging and so can't use Microsoft
Fax or send/receive emails.

1) Is there a version of Messaging for Windows XP?
2) Is it compatible with Microsoft Fax or do I need to get another Fax?

Peter
