Mail Size Restriction
Thanks for the advice. I will get back to my ISP and find out what is going
on.
The error message was only altered in respect to the prefix of the email
addy's.
In fact I was both the sender and recipient in this case as a test to
determine if file size was causing the rejection from the server.

Your ISP is wrong. There is no limit with OE. Since you altered the error
message it is harder to pin down, but it is either a restriction from your
ISP, or more likely in this case, the recipient probably has a mailbox
size limit and that was exceeded.

Hi
When I try to send jpg images which are 5MB in size from Outlook
Express, I get an error message like that below
"The following message to was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 552-'MAIL
max. message size exceeded"
When I contacted my ISP, they advised that the max. size of mail from OE
is 5MB.
Is this a restriction within OE or is it a restriction applied by my
ISP??
If these restrictions cannot be removed, is there any way around this
issue so that I can send large image files?
Thanks
