Default Outlook 2007 & Vista

Is the Control Panel you refer to in Outlook? If so, it is unaccessible,
since it never gets past the automatic "Configuring Outlook" and Not
Responding.

I have a Gateway laptop that came with MS Works. I purchased an upgrade
MS Office 2007 disk. Everything else works fine, except Outlook. It
begins to load with a "Configuring Outlook" box. "MigratingAccont
Settings" is in bold, with "Migrating Preferences" and "Importing User
Data" below. It never changes. I have let it "run" for 24 hours with no
change. I can only close it by using Task Manager which shows that it is
not responding.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Fran
