Default Error When Sending

My AV e-mail scanning has been turned off for years, and I just checked to
be sure. MPTP is set at 127.0.0.1. I haven't changed this recently, so I
don't understand why I'm suddenly having this problem.

If you don't have the correct server information, correct it.

This is usually caused by scanning e-mail, or an anti-spam program.

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant
layer of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems
such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V
program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:

I keep getting an error message when trying to send mail. It stopped for
a while this morning, and now it's returned. It happens for a test
message that has no attachment and only one word in the message and for
a brief message with an attachment. The error has two parts:

1. The message could not be sent because its size exceeded the server's
limit. You can use the option, located in Tools | Accounts | Properties |
Advanced, to break messages into smaller parts. Subject 'test new',
Account: ', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '552 xspR1W0015T45M80000000 This message was
undeliverable. This message has been found to be a potential spam
message, and has therefore been blocked. Please visit
http://coxagainstspam.cox.net for more information.', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 552, Error Number: 0x800CCC6D

2. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible
causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long
period of inactivity. Account: ', Server:
'127.0.0.1', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number:
