Default Wahy to turn off attachment warning in Outlook 2007

Hi

I too am experiencing the problem described below. However, when I use
Control Panel Folder Options, I don't have a File Types choice. There are
three sections in the dialogue: "Tasks", "Browse Folders" and "Click items as
follows". There is no "Advanced" command button anywhere that I can find.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate v6.0 (build 6000).

Many thanks,
Nick

After furious head scratching, Tom asked:

| I don't want to be prompted "You should only open attachments from a
| trustworthy source ..." warning in Outlook 2007 on Vista when trying
| to open Office 2007 and 2003 .doc, .docx, xls, xlsx, and .pdf files.
|
| Unfortunately, the "Always ask before opening this file" checkbox is
| disabled, so I can not remove the checkmark on it.
|
| Is there a way to enable the checkbox?
