Sorry....Windows XP Pro SP2; completely up to date with the exception of I
didn't switch to the latest version of IE when it came out a few months ago.
It's my father's machine and he's getting old. Better not to change things
around too much for him.

In any case, my thanks to the two of you who replied. The problem is now
