Default IS THERE A MODERATOR HERE? WHY IS RUSS ALLOWED TO BE SO INSULTING?

I'm not clear on the technical difference between not getting an answer and
"get you no answer at all"? Also please note, you've given me an additional
"not an answer" more than I predicted.

How do you guys make time for this? Why does Microsoft allow you to fill
these forums with stuff like this?

Telling you to follow newsgroup etiquette (no multiposting, no caps) is
not insulting. The people who reply here have to sift through hundreds of
messages per day. It shows a lack of respect on your part towards the
people replying (who are all volunteers, users like you, who reply in
their free time) if you multipost.
There is no moderator here (these are newsgroups, not forums) and you not
following newsgroup etiquette and insulting a regular poster will get you
no answer at all.

non-answer below, people will see that I received a reply and then not
jump in to help. Now it seems my only choice is to wait several weeks,
